Re: Designs for the three areas

Mr. Jacobs,
The designs for the three areas were completed and were presented yesterday, 8 September, at the Ministry of Communities.
As per our procedure the next step would be to forward the designs to the engineers for them to review and comment and commence the preparation of estimates, engineering drawings and so on.
This next step was also discussed yesterday and the engineers are to prepare the relevant documentation for next Thursday.
This is what was communicated to me since I did not attend the meeting.
If further information is needed, like the actual designs and preliminary design brief, I will be able to share these with you on Tuesday.
Regards,
Fayola Azore

Dear Mr. Jacobs,

Please note that a meeting was held today with Minister Bulkan, PS McGarrell and members of the Chinese company where the designs for the three areas were discussed among other things. Minister Bulkan indicated that you may have some comments on the key elements that should be incorporated into the design that were discussed in previous meetings with the said team that would have included Mr. Edinboro. I think we had some miscommunication in relation to what was expected for the designs of these areas internally and we are working to complete same. Minister also requested that a meeting be held on Tuesday with the Board, where the broad concept for the redesign of the areas can be presented and discussed. The meeting will be held at 4pm at the Ministry of Communities.

The areas that will be looked at includes Little and Great Diamond, Cummings Lodge and La Penitence. We will no longer look at Perseverance.

All for your information.
