I’ve been hearing a lot as of recent of new employment, promotions and movement of personnel at CH&PA.
This is just a reminder that no one in management has authority to hire or promote persons. This authority is granted to the Board under the Housing act.
With a new CEO coming on soon, I recommend we halt all new employment or promotions until the CEO is in place. It is only fair that the CEO be involved in the hiring or promotion of employees.
All for your information and guidance.

I made mention of a memo circulated among the management team regarding new employees hired in Region 6.
Section 5 of the Housing Act gives the Central Authority (the Board) powers to “appoint and employ” officers and servants.
Unless authorised by the Board, no one in management is empowered to shortlist, interview or hire anyone.
Given past and current underperformance by management and ongoing internal sabotage please remind management of their roles and ours.
Thanks in advance.
